Quiet one today, I was hoping the DJM V5 mixer from Alpha Theta would have arrived today but alas no it looks as though it will be Monday. I did receive the obligatory decksaver for the new beast, just not hing to put it on!
As a side note I think Tidal does a great job of bringing fresh music suggestions and the depth of their catalogue is very impressive. And with the integration into lots of players almost on a level with Spotify is great news. I listen to Tidal every night as I go to sleep and last night was the turn ed a random deep chilled dubby techno affair. Good stuff which allows the brain to switch off.
As mentioned it’s a quiet day music wise but the evening will consist of me trying to clear my mind and decide upon a setup layout to incorporate my new mixer into. I might have a little mix too potentially. Oh and I had to stop myself buying 100 house music records off Facebook earlier (such a bargain) which made sense as I have around 3-400 records from the genre to sort yet. I demonstrated good self control….could this be the new me?
See you tomorrow, where there should be a bit more to talk about.
