Parov Stelar, real name Marcus Füreder, is an Austrian DJ, producer and one of the pioneers of electro swing. He’s known for blending vintage jazz, swing and big band samples with modern house and electronic beats, creating a sound that’s instantly recognisable on the dancefloor.
Since breaking through in the 2000s, he’s released a string of albums and club tracks, including Booty Swing, Catgroove and All Night. His music has taken him from underground clubs to major festivals worldwide, bringing a fresh, modern twist to classic sounds and keeping the spirit of swing alive for a new generation.
Released in 2012 on Etage Noir Recordings, The Princess brings together vintage jazz, swing, soulful vocals and electronic beats. Tracks like “All Night” and “Nobody’s Fool” provide plenty of groove, while the deeper, more atmospheric moments give the album a bit more depth.
