It is Consummated – Tissot Risen-Glorified Compassion – Bouguereau is aThis unique depiction of the Savior's final moment on the Cross was painted by nineteenth century artist, J. Tissot. Unlike most renditions of the Crucifixion, we see the Trinity in Heaven, as well as many of the ancient prophets of the Old Testament. The triangle, symbolizing the Blessed Trinity, also forms part of a six pointed Star of David. On the Star, the word "Lord" is written in Hebrew. The prophets, standing below the Star, raise their
