A key slot prevents the tool holder from rotating on the graver handle, and a small O ring on the 1 4" diameter shank ensures a snug, secure fit. Tools are locked in place with a single hex nut tightened with a 2 mm (5 64") hex key the same key used for GRS QC tool holders. This short version measures
