Katnook Estate, Shiraz BLENDED elegant and surprising for allFrom the winery: Whilst Coonawarra is lesser known for Shiraz than Cabernet Sauvignon, the region produces outstanding examples of the variety. Katnook Estate Shiraz captures the elegance and underlying power of classic cool climate Shiraz. The wine usually matures in oak maturation for around 15 months in American oak barriques, 35% of which are new. Cellaring potential is 8 to 12 years. Ideal food matches are game, red meat dishes and hard cheeses.
