Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen. An Honour Cross, Ii Class With Swords, C.1915 certificate_of_authenticity Altenhammer(Ehrenkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 17 December 1856 by Prince Gnther Friedrich Carl. (Issued 1870 1918). A gold filled Maltese Cross with white enameled arms, with crossed swords in each quadrant, obverse centre with a silver gilt oval blue enameled medallion bearing a gilt lion rampant, reverse with silver gilt oval blue enameled medallion bearing a gilt royal monogram of Gnther Friedrich Carl, on a loop for suspension from its period
